Find Us by Public Transport

Unfortunately, Cheddar is not very well connected by public transport.  If you are planning on touring the area we strongly recommend that you hire a car. This will give you complete freedom to explore this wonderful part of the country without restriction.

The nearest major centres are Weston-Super-Mare or Bristol.

If you are arriving at Weston-Super-Mare, there is a reasonably regular bus service linking the train station and the town centre with Cheddar village, from where we are about a ten minute walk.  Details of this service can be found here.

Bristol International Airport & Bristol City Centre/Bristol Temple Meads train station can only be reached by taxi.  We can arrange your taxi transfers for you once you have confirmed your reservation with us.  Costs are between £20-£35 each way.
